The payment or any deposit shall be taken as confirmation of acceptance of the following terms and conditions.

Bookings are on a 'first come - first served' basis and are for a minimum of three (3) nights, to the exception of certain period and unless otherwise specified in the confirmation of availability. Many property owners require a 7 night minimum stay and sometimes two weeks or longer during the Christmas, New Year, Lunar New Year, Easter or Summer holidays. 

Check-in time is 3:00 PM and check-out time is 10:00 AM on the day of departure. Late check-out is possible at extra cost of 50% of the applicable daily rate until 06.00pm. Any check-out later than 06.00pm is considered as one additional night and charged at 100% of the applicable daily rate.

On making a booking client undertakes to ensure that all persons in the party are covered by insurance including but not limited to illness, holiday cancellation or accident. 

RESERVATION & PAYMENTS

35% Initial Deposit together with the completed Reservation Form must be received at the time of booking. Booking Confirmation will be effective only when initial payment has been received.

The Final Payment consisting of the remaining balance must be received at least 60 days prior to guest arrival (or together with the Reservation Form if booked less than 60 days in advance of arrival). Failure to receive the final payment on a timely basis will make reservations subject to automatic cancellation.

The Security Deposit of 25% of the rental amount (and no less than 200 Euro) on account of the cost of telephone, electricity, gas, breakage or damage, lost keys, and any other costs, which may be applicable must be paid in advance at the time of check-in. Failrue to pay the Security Deposit will result automatic cancellation - no guest will be allowed inside the property without the Security Deposit.

There is a (one-time per booking) surcharge for bookings of less than 3 nights applicable to all properties. 

Rates quoted allow for a maximum occupancy of two persons per bedroom; children below 5 years can stay in their parents' bedroom free of charge if no extra bed is required. Older children and additional guests will be subject to a per person, per day surcharge.

Rates do not include the services of our representatives to meet guests at the airport in and escort them to their property, gasoline, baggage handling, tips, internet, long-distance telephone, fax and telegram charges, food, soft drinks and/or liquor and wine, dry cleaning, personal items and expenses and any excessive cleaning required upon departure (such as upholstery or rug shampooing, etc). 

Payments are to be made in Euro via online payment gateway. If payments are not made by this method, Client will be debited with all bank charges due to cheque negotiations, currency charges, and currency fluctuations between the time of invoice and payment dates and such charges will be deducted from security deposit.

For transactions involving currency conversion payment gateway adds 1.99% to their wholesale exchange rates for foreign currency. This charge serves as a protection against the volatility and risk associated with FX markets.

The client will not be paid any interest on either the deposit or the security deposit.

CANCELLATION AND REFUNDS

Cancellation of a booking at any time will result in forfeiture of deposit(s) and payments made.

A Euro 50 administration fee will be charged for any change of booking after a Confirmation has been issued. Changes cannot be made later than 45 days before arrival, acceptance of any change is subject to approval by the property owner.

Refund of monies paid for property rental and services will be made only if the property confirmed becomes unfit for habitation and no equivalent replacement property can be obtained. 

FUNCTION FEES & "SPECIAL EVENTS"

Group meals, dance performances, parties and other arrangements in the property exceeding maximum occupancy for 50% are regarded as "Special Events" - there will be an additional fee of minimum of one night extra charge for weddings or other events. As these always require additional arrangements, please ask our Service Center for a detailed quotation well before the event. 

RENTAL CONDITIONS

All foreign guests in the party must provide a copy of Passport with a valid visa and all locals/residents must provide a Government issued ID containing residential address (such as Paport, Voting Card or Driving License). Hotel arrival report to local precinct is mandatory for every booking and should be signed by each staying guest separately.

No person/s are allowed without the prior permission of the Agent.

The number of persons sleeping in the property may in NO circumstances exceed that indicated or specifically agreed in the property description for any period during the rental.

Client will pay for any costs incurred and any damages caused by any persons in the party, (or any person invited as a guest of the Client) to the property and its contents during the occupancy. 

The property will have been thoroughly cleaned before Client's arrival. The Agent will arrange for the property to be cleaned after the Client’s departure to ensure that the property is left in the same state. The cost of this cleaning will be deducted from the security deposit.

If for any reasons beyond the control of the Agent, the property reserved is unusable or unavailable, the Agent undertakes to use all reasonable endeavours to find a similar property on similar terms, failing which the Agent will refund all payments made by the client but will not be liable for any further obligations or claims by the client. Similarly, the Agent will not be held liable in the event that any advertised amenity, equipment or service becomes or is unusable during the tenancy.

The client agrees to use to comply with the instructions for the proper usage of the property and its facilities. The Agent reserves the right to inspect the property as necessary during the tenancy, giving reasonable prior notice. No prior notice will be given if access is required for emergency reasons e.g. urgent repairs.

The Agent is entitled to recover from the client the full amount of any and all claims made against it in respect of any damages caused by the client to the property or its contents. The Agent will endeavour to refund the balance of the security deposit, after deductions, no later than 1 months after the end of the rental.

Any damages or loss to the property or its contents should be notified to the Agent before departure. Any claims made against the Agent must be made within 24 hours of the occurrence-giving rise to the claim and must further be notified in writing to the Agent before departure.

LIABILITY

LETGOA.com is acting as an Agent for the property owners, suppliers and/or contractors who are providing accommodation, transport, and services in all respects and LETGOA.com can only accept responsibility within this definition. All rentals are subject to obligations imposed on Agent by the Owner of the property.

Any descriptions of location, accommodation, whether given in a brochure, letter, or by word of mouth, are given by the Agent and its employees in good faith based on the latest information received from the property owner and in the belief that such descriptions are true. The Agent is not responsible for any false representations made to it by the property owner.

Under no circumstances shall Agent be responsible for any loss, expense, damage, death, claim or injury either directly or indirectly, consequential or otherwise whatsoever, however caused or incurred, whether arising in contract or otherwise in law or equity as a result of rendering of the services or accommodations as described or substituted, or by reason of terrorist or military action, riots, revolution, insurgency, civil war, adverse government action or inaction or acts of God, or by any agents, employees, subcontractors, servants or third parties whatsoever supplying any of the services or accommodations herein or as substituted. If any accommodations and/or services are substituted, we will act at all times in good faith and use its best efforts to substitute with accommodations and/or services of a type comparable to or better than those originally contracted.

Internet/WiFi service is subject to transmission limitations caused by atmosphere or topographic conditions or equipment failures and maybe temporary refused, interrupted or curtailed without notice. 

At our sole and unfettered discretion we reserve the right to refuse or discontinue service to any person(s) and/or to rescind any contract for accommodations or guest services. 

These conditions and any contract to which they apply are governed in all respect by Indian law and the Mapusa (Goa) court only shall have jurisdiction in relation to any claim or dispute arising out of, or connected with them.
